Three Parents, One Big Idea
We are Sergio, Chris, and John, three dads who share the same dream: trying to give our kids the whole world… even if we’re not hopping on a plane anytime soon. What started as a family project grew into a way to help other families listen, learn, and travel through story and sound.

We love to travel. We crave adventure. But with little ones at home and budgets to consider, globe-trotting isn’t always realistic.
So we asked ourselves: What if we could bring the world to our children instead?
That’s how The Accent Explorer™ was born—a fun, curiosity-sparking brand designed to help young kids explore cultures, accents, and places far beyond their backyard… without ever needing a passport.
Between us, we’ve got six kids, three continents of heritage, and a suitcase full of stories.
And together we wanted to turn all of that into something families everywhere could enjoy.
Our goal? To create books, videos, bedtime stories, and more that help families connect, learn, and laugh together, while discovering the beauty of our diverse world.
We hope these stories remind kids that kindness matters, curiosity is a strength, and our world’s differences are something to celebrate. And if The Accent Explorer™ sparks even one new question or connection at home, we’ve done what we set out to do.
Meet the Dads Behind the Brand
SERGIO
With a Latin American dad and a Mississippi-born mom, Sergio grew up immersed in cultural contrasts…and he loved it. Now a seasoned graphic designer and dad of two, he’s passionate about raising kids who are curious, compassionate, and globally-aware.
CHRIS
Chris was raised in Australia by a Maltese-Australian mum and a travel-hungry Aussie dad. He moved to the U.S. in 2017 to pursue his passion for storytelling through writing and audio production. Today, he brings that same wonder and creativity into the lives of his own young family.
JOHN
Rooted in American soil but always looking outward, John is a photographer, entrepreneur, and dad of two. He believes in the power of stories to connect us, and loves nothing more than capturing the beauty of a new place to share with others.
The Purpose Behind Our Stories
Kids today are growing up in a world that feels both incredibly connected and, at times, unexpectedly divided. They hear more voices than ever, but they don’t always learn how to connect with them.
We believe every child deserves a chance to explore the world, to hear new sounds, see new faces, and understand different ways of living. Even if travel isn’t possible right now, discovery still is.
